- Space X launched its Pal permission, using its workhourse Falcon 9 rocket.
- CEO Lekin Musk had spoken of starlink constellation of satellites that would provide a cheap, high speed, global internet connection.
- If successful, this Starlink constellation will provide high speed broadband services around the world. Tintin satellite are launched.
- Earlier facebook had also made similar attempts for African region back in 2016 but they cancelled the plan after crash of first launch.
- US based oneweb also planning similar web of 900 satellites for canada.
- Space X is planning a link of 12000 satellites to cover entire planet and it will serve military as well as general purpose application.
