I wouldn't call the elite "time travelers" however, as they are as yet unable to send organic matter through the quantum, only data.. and I made no mention of "video games", although they would fall into the category of time wasting drivel.
If you scoff at the core concept of time manipulation and time management through the quantum, I suggest you read a little deeper into what is happening in your world today. This is, quite frankly, old news.
