Youtube's entire view count is dropping so they have changed their trending algorithm

Youtube is also unsubscribing people from popular channels. It is pushing all kinds of crap on your front page as recommended that you have not subscribed to and putting your subscribed channel feeds on the left panel as a link called 'subscriptions' making it harder for you to see your favorite feeds.

There has also been some fake DMCA and copyright complaints against popular channels and it seems that Youtube is not checking the legitimacy of those copyright complaints.

Youtube has introduced double subscribing. You click the bell near the subscribe button and save the channel you have already subscribed to.
