Royal Bengal Tiger
The Sundarbans area of India and Bangladesh, which is a well-known tiger, is known all over the world as the Royal Bengal Tiger. Several decades ago (Perspective 2010), there were rumors of the Royal Bengal Tiger in almost all areas of Bangladesh. In the 1950s, this tiger was seen in present day Madhupur and Gazipur areas of Dhaka; Madhupur was last seen in 1962 and in Gazipur in 1966. Currently there are 3,000 in the world, of which more than half are in the Indian sub-continent. This number is calculated with the number of two subspecies or subspecies living in the tiger. No scientific article found the reliable weight of the tigers of the Sundarbans. While the Forest Department keeps a record of weight, it is not very predictable and reliable. According to the reports of length, the length is about 366 cm (144 inches) more. Most recently the Minnesota University researcher and Bangladesh Forest Department conducted a research on behalf of American Fisheries and Wildlife Service and they measured the weight of the three tigers of the Sundarbans. Two are caught and sleep pills are applied for radio caller and the other is killed by local people. The weight of two tigers made of collar is done with a weight of 150 kg (330 feet), the weight of the tiger killed is taken by using ordinary daripala. The average weight of three tigers was 76.7 kg (169 feet). The weight of the big-wing tiger is 75 kg (165 feet) which is less than the average because it is considered older and worse. From the calculation of two tigers, they were 12-14 years old. Another tiger was a 3-4-year-old small tiger and it was a habitat-changing tiger.
