I am not a big fan of seafood in general, and oysters are far down the list of seafood I would eat if I had to. But, there is something cool about this quote from Jonathan Swift in which he says that the first person to taste an oyster must have been a bold man. Isn't that special? Someone had to be the first person to give it a try. That is a risky thing. There are fish that are poisonous, and there are lots of fish that taste very bad. So, someone once thought that an oyster looks interesting, I wonder what it tastes like. ANd as a result, we are here today, and oysters are on our lists of decliassies in many countries.

What is the lesson? Sometimes we need to take risky steps to discover new things and to taste new things and to see new things. Not everything will become a success (or taste good), but we are taking steps in a direction of new adventures and exploring and taking chances.
