Howdy sir johannpiber! oh, so now you are starting to be a professional and taking different lenses with you? That sounds like a lot of work sir johann. Wow you know what? That first photo looks like a 3D photo, it pops out so well, that's a great one!

Hello @janton,

give me the money, and I buy more lenses ;)

For my EOS R I have these three lenses:

  • 24-105 mm
  • 70-200 mm
  • 105 mm macro lens
  • 50 mm prime

I would need a wide angle lens and a better telephoto lens, then I would be satisfied for a while ;)

Thanks for liking my photos - the first one came out good, I like the contrasts blue-green / sharp-blurred.

I like that first one too sir johannpiber...that 70-200mm is a large one right? some of those that I see people with are about a foot long.

My 70-200mm (f/4) lens is about 8.5 inches long and quite heavy, but I like it a lot.
For wildlife photography, photographing small birds and so, I would like to have a 400mm lens, but I cannot afford it yet - maybe in a few months I will have saved enough ;)

sir johannpiber, did you get in agreement with the Missus about the expensive lense or do you guys have your own money and each one spends like they want? I bet the 400 is almost a foot long then!

No, these lenses are not so long anymore, @janton ;)

My wife earns her own money, as well as I do. I pay for our apartment, for private insurances, for electricity, heating and most of the food ... I pay for most of our living, for our family van, and for my son's motorbike and for my own motorbike. My Missus has her own car, and she pays for it herself.

holy moly..so unless your wife has a very expensive car ...she gets to keep most of her money. I bet she's loaded! lol.

She is working part time only, my friend, so she is not earning that much, but of course, there is more left in her pocket than in mine at the end of the month ;)
