We've got the Mavic Air too, and I love it! I will say though that flying the drone ended up being more a passing fancy for us— we didn't even bring it along with us on our last trip because we thought it'd be a hassle what with three kids and trying to minimize our carry-ons. Totally regret that though— would have loved to capture some drone footage of Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana.

I agree, it's incredibly easy to use, and as long as you're staying in open air without any dicey obstacles during questionable light (tree branches in the autumn right around twilight, for example), it's proooobably near impossible to crash.
