LIFTING THE VEIL with the “Charge of the Goddess” Meditation

The aim of invocation of the “Goddess Energy”, the Yin polarity, often called “charge” means simply expanding one's self-perception into higher consciousness in order to allow and “charge” with more intensity the creative vital energy of which we are “made of”. It is a powerful meditative practice that helps a faster manifestation of the visions summoned by our creative imaginative mind.

The vital creative energy is the “materia prima” of the Whole (often called god, goddess, source, spirit, universe and many other terms that try to explain one and the same phenomena). Thus it is also the “substance” onto which our individual ego-thoughts are “imprinted” to form our “visible and tangible” realities.

This source energy is charged with two complementary vibrational polarities that we know from many cultures around the world as feminine and masculine, Yin and Yang, Shiva and Shakti, Yemaya and Olokun, The Linden Spirit and The Oak Spirit, Mother Earth and Father Sky - to symbolize the two different source energy charges that always conspire in the perpetual creation of the Whole, and us as an integral part of it. Mutually stimulating dualism that seeks balance. Regardless of gender of our physical bodies we have both of these charges dancing an infinite creative tango – the mindful penetrative awareness (of an idea or thought) being the mold into which the dynamic formless pure potentiality earnestly flows into. Our manifested reality is the culmination of this passionate creative dance of two complementary forces – the thought that is the organizing, molding principle and the pure formless potentiality full of creative force and yearning to be touched by the thought – and eventually become SEEN and celebrated as our Visible Beautiful Life and World of Forms.

The presently available literary versions of “The Charge of the Goddess” are creative attempts to revive the profound and powerful WISDOM of the so called Goddess Civilizations that historically enjoyed approximately 30,000 years of highly creative, wise and harmonious evolution, until it was interrupted by unbalanced destructive force rooted in lack-mentality, representing mental lethargy, ignorance and thus, entrapment in the illusion – the polar opposite to the light of the conscious awareness and "creator consciousness".

Now we are in the jubilant era of balancing the darkness with our awakening consciousness, represented in our collective “manifested reality” by more acute awareness about the shadow aspects of the human behavior, resulting in disruptions on individual and on global scale. Darkness has no escape when the light of realization and discernment is cast on it.

“The Charge of the Goddess” is a sequence of affirmations about recognizing the nature of the benevolent, formless and innately creative force in us that is earnestly responding to our thoughts, wishes, intentions and imagination. It calls us to recognize it in our own consciousness, embrace it and use its inherent creative and also potentially destructive power with prudence, reminding that all that we put forth returns to us threefold.

These days we can still feel the surge of creativity, expressiveness and sense of connection to all beings and to the Whole, while under the powerful influence of the Full Moon. And I feel inspired to share my own version, variation, interpretation, remake and expansion of The Wise and Ancient Charge of the Goddess.

The historic ancient Charge of the Goddess is still being used in the Old Europe’s folklore, seasonal rites and traditions and has been interpreted into literary pearls by many. The best known versions in English are written by Charles Godfrey Leland, Gerald Gardner and Doreen Valiente.

My Goddess Meditation is drenched in the powerful Full Moon’s creative energy and expresses my heartfelt blessings for the awakening humanity and me as a part of it. May we all re-encounter, re-cognize and be re-born in our “God / Goddess essence” WITHIN and live from that perspective a long, joyful and plentiful life. Read slowly and SENSE how the professed ideas touch the corners of your mind, where the ancient wisdom is eternally stored. It is already in you since the unfathomable beginning of the Whole.

I AM the Universal Mother. I am the source energy before any creation. I am the infinite potential. All “matter” was brought forth by me. The Goddess is manifest now through me, and I carry the seed of all creation in my imaginary womb of creation. I am the Alpha and the Omega, and I breathe this principle through me every moment until I become one with the essence of the Alpha and Omega, and then my I grasps that “I AM”.

Once in a month when the Moon is full, I unite with “I AM” in a Sacred Space WITHIN, and adore the essence of Goddess in me, the source of all being, the Queen of all worlds, known and yet unknown. Through this Essence I am taught all Mysteries about all things that are yet unknown and unseen.

While united with my Goddess essence - I am free from lies, confusions and illusions, and my naked body - the temple of the Goddess - is the mirror of my true pure Inner-Self in all my Sacred Rituals and Meditations.

And I dance, and I sing, and I feast and make more of that Love of which I am already made of. All in my own praise, gratitude and adoration. – For, in me is the ecstasy of the spirit and in me is all joy on earth - for me and all beings that I have invited with my own mind in my own individual Visible Reality.

My Law is Love and Truth unto all beings. There is no other Law, there is no other Truth and there is no other Love than the One Whole Love. I keep pure my highest intentions, and let nothing stop or turn me aside. – For, in me is the “Sacred Gate” that opens to the land of eternal youth, renewal and rebirth. In me is the eternal summer. In me is the “Cup of the Wine of the Life” – the Holy Grail of immortality and transformation. In me is the Goddess that gives the gift of love, plenty and joy unto hearts of all living beings.

I AM is the essence of the Mother and the origin of all things on Earth and in all the Universes, created and yet to be created - it’s the essence of self-less giving and unconditional love, - thus demands no sacrifices nor conditions. I give the knowledge that flows from the pure and eternal spirit, and my love is poured out constantly upon all. Drink from me forever and fill your heart, for I give peace and freedom beyond terror of death, and reunion with all who are here and all who have left before us. For I AM the Soul of all worlds, I AM she who gives life to the very Universe. From me all things are born and will return to the Whole - to be re-created again in million ways and forever.

When I acknowledge that consciously - I can feel that I am the Beloved of the Whole. I let my innermost Whole-Self be unfolded, in the rapture of the infinite bliss. The words of the Goddess echo in me and her Whole body encircles my Inner Universe, the beginning and the end of the Sacred Journey.

As within so it is without. Only that which is already “within” the inner mental space can be found “without” as “The Real World”. And it is nothing else than the mirror reflection of what is believed within. Thus I seek the Mystery within, and find Miracles without.

The Secret of all desire! Arise and rain upon me as the Blessing of the Mysteries, quench my thirst and fill me with bliss – so that my vibration resonates with yours and I can unite with you in me! Use my body and mind as the Holy Temple of this Union, Me as the essence of The Whole Goddess.”
