Binance launches Ordinals Inscription Service

Binance Pool announced the launch of the Ordinals Inscription Service.

Similar to NFTs, Ordinal Inscriptions are digital assets inscribed on a satoshi, the lowest denomination of a Bitcoin (BTC). Inscribing on satoshis, became possible due to the Taproot upgrade launched on the Bitcoin network on November 14, 2021.

Binance Pool is a service platform dedicated to improving the income of miners. As a one-stop hub, It provides mining services to users with a focus on Proof-of-Work (PoW) and Proof-of-Stake (PoS). Binance Pool is an important part of the Binance ecosystem.

To use Binance’s Ordinals Inscription Service, users must own a Taproot address and have their accounts verified. Bitcoin Ordinal protocol is designed to enhance the utility of Bitcoin by allowing for the inscription of additional data onto its smallest unit, the satoshi. Making it easier to create unique digital artifacts that are securely stored on the Bitcoin network.
