How stupid do you think I am, avoiding the more common term cloud mining, because everybody already knows that's a scam. There's no difference between them and other cloud mining companies. Best way to save the planet is to not waste energy mining, but use DPoS coins like Steem.
Perhaps you can write a post later on explaining how security works when influence can be purchased with fiat, I still don't get it and that's why I'm a little nervous about Steem even though I decide to believe in it. How is DPoS different than PoS?
Security wise there's no big difference. What scenario are you worried about? Getting enough influence to be able to cause serious damage would cost millions...
Mining is so wasteful that it's quite hard to support it and protect the mother earth at the same time.
