Thanks for this. :) As a man, it's hard to know sometimes what the rules are anymore... I tend to just default to my natural abilities, but being a sensitive guy, I'm always thoroughly aware of the overbearing force unleashed upon the world by my gender, so I also carry myself with that knowledge, for good or ill. So it's nice to receive encouragement from women to be more fully what we are, in all its foibles and depths.
I for one am thoroughly enchanted by the mystery... the cosmic spin of opposites, the yin yang, the expansion-contraction, the inhalation-exhalation, the push-pull, the explosive-implosive... to be sure, men and women possess varied traits, but we are by nature, generally possessed of the qualities of our gender. Even though we are exploring non-binary gender identity, this has always been the case in shamanic societies, and this is a magical point from which to operate as well.
For the mass of humanity, there remains this push-pull, this cosmic tidal flux of give and receive, an energetic exchange of ancient forces through which we move, and evolve! We can change the story all we want, but the underlying principles remain the same. The social revolution of roles should perhaps be aware of its very limited sphere within the cosmos. The flower does not erupt with destructive force, nor does the volcano receive guests. It's not something to be fixed, it's just the way things are, for now... in this reality.
Wow. To be honest, I don´t exactly know how to reply to such an impressive comment :) If it was a post, I´d reblog it right away.
I agree on every single word and loved the way you put them together.
This.
Thank you @lovejoy, your view on our reality was absolutely inspiring!
Hah! Well, I for one appreciate the opportunity to share my thoughts on a topic in the comments of your post, rather than having to create a stand-alone post myself. ;) Thanks for your kind words. I'll get back to 'posting' things soon, but for now, it's more comfortable here in the comments. Onward @surfermarly! :)
You are welcome and I am looking forward to reading you again soon :)
