I love this post. And I agree wholeheartedly. I wonder though, if that is just because you and I were fortunate enough to find that exact right match. Actually I wondered that after reading reddust's comments, because I admit she has a few good points. But, I know that if the car died I would be stuck without one until I could afford a ridiculously large price to fix it...if not for my man, among many other stereotypical examples, like your spider analogy ;)

Congratulations @dreemit! That's a great way to celebrate an anniversary actually. I've seen and upvoted it yesterday before going to bed and will fly over to leave a comment right away after finishing this one.
Probably we realize how worth these relationships are when we've found them. Not talking only about spiders or fixing cars (I'd behave like you 100% btw ;)), but especially about true love. That's a wonderful gift, hard to find but really worth waiting for. That's why I have never said something like "all men suck", not even when I was frustrated after a break-up.
Sharing all these adventures life has to offer is so much fun!
