Women weren´t created to do everything a man can do.
They were created to do everything a man cannot do - and the other way around.
I don't think we were created to be anything, we just are what we are. Indeed, we are a sexually dimorphic species. The range of traits common among males of the species differs from those common among females.
I don't believe in a 'Men should fulfill X role, women should fulfill Y role' approach to life. You are an individual not an archetype, you have your own traits which may be influenced by your biological gender and societies influences/expectations, but ultimately you can choose to pursue whatever goals or roles in life you prefer, or feel best suited towards.
I totally agree with all of your arguments and the freedom to become whatever you wanna be is actually what I wanted to express with my last paragraph :) I don´t like stereotypes either. However, there are obvious differences between men and women.
That´s what I meant, yip. Without any judgement or stereotyping :)
Thanks for your valuable comment, @demotruk!
Pick one?
Haha, I don´t have to actually :)
Gender specific differences are not equal to stereotypes. Stereotypes are artificially created and oversimplified images. Gender specific shades (to what I was refering) are mostly genetically driven.
Ask 10 guys if they wanna do a header from that 5m rock and then ask 10 girls. Not saying that all of the 10 girls will refuse it, but...:)
Funny somehow that so many pointed on that stereotypes thing here, while I just wanted to say: guys, we love and need you.
