The Diary 📔 Game
As early as 05:00AM, I was already up and checking my steem and cryptocurrency networks.
An hour later, I cleaned 🧹 around my home.
From home, i thought of my my first #GreenDeed and finally concluded that I will do two green deeds today. One of the #GreenDeeds will be for day 1 of my 100 days of #Steem and the second will be for today.
Day 1 #GreenDeed
Today, I swept all the litter on the streets of my community and I was assisted by my 2 years old son, Nabil and my 7 years old daughter who was on the Camera.
Next to sweeping, I went to open our shop and display the items of the shop. Our shop is just besides our house. Made some good sales early in the morning.
My wife and I planned to go the market to buy food items but this was going to be after we had our breakfast.
Oh oh! I guess I was too hungry 😋 and ate faster than I could think of taking a picture of my breakfast. Anyway, I had bread 🥖 and eggs 🍳 with some tea ☕️ for breakfast.
My wife and I then left for the market. Before I forget, COVID-19 🦠 is real and it’s claiming the lives of people in my region but the government has no choice than to leave us go about our daily activities. So don’t think we don’t have COVID-19 by looking at the pictures.
At the market, I first of all stopped by the fabric shop to get some Ankara fabric for our 1000 Reusable Face Masks Project.
My wife went to the food market to purchase food items for our home while I stayed at the main market to purchase items for our shop.
We bought hygiene and sanitation items, beverages, juice 🧃 and many items for our shop, Papa J and Mama J’s Market
175,000CFAF (approx $300) was spent by both of us at the market today. I drove my wife back home with the items and then left for the garage. Yesterday I was at the garage and so I needed to complete the mechanical work today.
A few minutes into the work, it started to rain 🌧. Wasn’t happy about the rain because it will slow down our work. Anyway, I was fortunate to have a banana 🍌 in the car 🚗 as it rained.
It rained for over 30 minutes after which we completed the mechanical work and took the car for testing.
Testing results proved the car was ready for a trip to Douala, the Littoral Region of Cameroon.
Day 2 #GreenDeed
I have decided to save 30 plastic bottles from the environment today. I picked up 9 at a nearby stream and will upcycle them into 90 UPB Tree Nursery Pots tomorrow.
Back at home I packed the items we bought from the market into our shop and the kitchen before I had my dinner, plantain and stew. It’s been a busy and very tiring day and I think it’s best I go to bed early so that I can have enough rest and be ready for tomorrow.
My wife is a nurse 👩⚕️ and she is on duty tonight. It’s just me and our three kids plus my niece having the whole house to ourselves.
Good night and see you tomorrow as I get into day 3 of my 100 days of steem and environmental action.
