This was quite an eye opening post for me, I hadn't realised for all the time I had been on Steemit how much work was being put in by so many members to support charities and also those in dire need. It's shame the platform does not make more effort to make posts that support charity, support people and raise funds for relief efforts more visible - they could quite easily get rid of the pointless promoted tab and replace it with Fundraising - providing they could ensure the posts displayed in it were only from verified charity accounts.
