Never been a fan of "whale-status", earned a lot of my POB by being controversial and early, makes more sense to spread the VYB, imo.

edit: came back to edit this because it's bothered me since I wrote it. there is an uncertainty there which I just made the link to after reading your interaction on the latest drama post. I don't see a link between yourself and others but I only really ever bump into you and your profile on those drama/heated posts (which is on me, ofcourse). This could cause a superficial link, not something I'd let affect my perception of someone to the point of writing them off though. I'm intrigued by your art and the expression within your content about as far as my own mental capacity can handle, which is great (sometimes we have to challenge ourselves incrementally). hope you are finding the path towards creativity and are managing to censor yourself in the right ways (not always easy to do as we're witnessing from this comment alone).

I've been kind of confused about this message for some time. Drama posts...
What's interesting about the latest issue spree is all in the delivery. Can easily agree with some of the issues presented. Can't talk about them because folks are too busy playing sides. That's kind of normal around here though.
And people don't ask questions in those arenas.
I didn't dump the tokens. I don't focus on only one group though around here. Not a fan of creating multiple accounts and I don't really have a desire to 'maximize'. A lot of folks come comment on my posts and I use VYB so I distribute the tokens with 15% comment upvotes. It's not much but it's something. And of course if their post has the tag; bonus I guess. That's how I am with all the Tribe tokens though.
I still thought it was really kind of you to do that and after that drama yet, it made me feel welcome when at the time, I didn't. Thanks again.
It is slightly confusing I guess. I'm a pretty confusing guy at the best of times (fortunately I seem to have grown out of the stage of confusing myself, so progress is on the horizon, lol).
I'm just here for the fun, people, memes, laughs, and hopefully, some evolution in the "right" direction. It wasn't long ago that the realisation dawned on me that it's important to "close loops", whether that's in my mind or someone else's. Asking questions helps with that, so does extending an olive branch or two, sometimes it requires an outburst which can then be resolved. It's not always a simple solution to "come full circle".
(I'm rambling on, I guess my point is that I see the extreme value in resolution and evolution, rather than ignorance and decay)
Glad to hear that, I'm exactly the same. We're (at least I am) trying to move away from the "got to use up all my vote weight otherwise I fail at Hive" mentality, the VYB curation project is heading towards that but it's still a process.
I really should have added a "no strings attached" message within the post because I genuinely couldn't care less what people do with those tokens. I can put my hand on my heart and say that I choose the people above because they caught my eye in the midst of the holiday season and it added something to what was probably the best festive holiday I've ever had.
Hope you're off to a great start for the year. I did see your recent post, and the "read "thumbnail, although I wasn't in the mood to give it a read at that time. Your artistry and style remind me of a part of myself that requires a certain state of mind to explore fruitfully.
Yeah. Not in the business of making enemies. Business matters and politics around here should be just that but it's not unusual for some to take things personally. I don't lose sleep over it. It's funny. @frot stopped by to call me a prick and, I just kinda laughed. It's whatever.
Platform seems to be advancing to the point where 'the right way' doesn't really matter. People can do whatever the fuck they want. It's just taking some time to adjust to those possibilities. That's a long history of problems. Solutions can seem 'too good to be true' in these scenarios.
I noticed the one concern here about 'big accounts' receiving this prize thing. It's unfortunate some view that as a bad thing in a way. Takes away the fun after starting from scratch and working that many years only to have some turn it into a negative.
I like the fun part though so I don't focus too much on that mentality. There's a new comedy community up and running, #comedyopenmic. I've been thinking about promoting it and might throw in a vyb shoutout. Blend the two communities a bit. No promises though. If I do it, it won't be a traditional promo. Did some weird shit back in the day for them.
Other than that, that thumbnail is actually a riddle. It says 'read between the lines'. But I don't mind if you're not reading it. I don't expect everyone to be glued to my stuff.

Yeah, that doesn't phase me one bit, lol. Makes more sense that some bigger accounts have finessed themselves and their content style, and that catches my eye. Subjectivity in content and impression is something I'm very comfortable with from grading posts in the #pob-wotw. I'm pretty happy with my choices, they're all interesting characters, yourself included.

I like the concept of the Bizarre thing. Don't normally join in on the festivities though. I just stick to my brand. Well, the way I see it, the "grow your stakesize massive and win at life" method of DPoS didn't appeal to me on POB, and it definitely doesn't on VYB!
I'm not in a race with anyone here, just myself (and most of the time me and him just add more laps anyway).
More people with stake = wider range of votes, which should increase the value of 1 VYB in time as more diversity in stakeholders & content results in a more enjoyable user experience.
Notice how the curation is "alright" just off the back of a moderate 300-400 person airdrop? This won't last long, as soon as this puppy starts scaling up it's going to get distorted fast (that's why the curation project is going to be crucial to the success of VYB). Obviously, success is defined in many ways, for many different people.
We can see how important it is to have a wide range of healthy stakeholders voting, otherwise who's got the props? (Compounding is very very very important in a 50/50 DPoS setup, I'm just getting some snowballs started!)
Just my two cents! People can do what they like with these digital tokens that have a tendency to get the life squeezed out of them 😉

About 4 years mate! Crazy. I'm just a little fish with some cool connections, lol. Glad I didn't blow up and decided to float around here there and everywhere, it has somewhat "widened my scope".
The curation project will be active on the 8th! (set myself a blockchain deadline right there, see how it goes 😂). I'm curious, if you were going to start up a curation project with absolutely no limitations, what would be the most important aspect you'd focus on?

Not necessarily, though I'm quite sure how you guys are organized and what your vision is. Knowing your vision for VYB would help with coming up with suggestions.
I'd say at this point subcommunities are unnecessary. I'd espect a challenge that first explains a core principal of what VYB is about then goes into a challenge that follows it. So of course there needs to be rules. Rules are part of the culture. Even anarchy has rules.
So, first we need to know what VYB is, what sets it apart or will, the vision then a way to start the VYB culture. Right now it's up to the founders to pull everyone together into a VYB Comminity. It's a Hive Tribe, but not yet, so already a subcommunity.
