The Joker (2019), Is an incredible film and Joaquin Phoenix absolutly Kills it, past perfection

I finally got around to watching the Joker. Wow. This movie is a must see. Honestly 10/10. For a movie for this type it's perfect. The only other movie I can think of, off the top of my head that I think is a 10/10 is 'The Shawshank Redemption'. But don't expect to leave the movie feeling uplifted. The end of this film is not like that. This is some dark shit. It was only after watching it a second time I could actually appreciate the work put into it. The first time it just felt so real that I couldn't fully process it.

Joaquin does such a good job that he makes you forget that it's a movie. It's creepy, It's got that 'to weird to not be real' feel about it. I found myself feeling a bit worried about Phoenix. You could tell that he really got into the mindset of his deeply troubled character. It reminded me of Jim Carey when he became Andy in 'Man on the Moon'. He got so into his character that it was like he forgot who he was. Carey went nuts. Joaquin had to be at least a little nuts to do such a perfect job. He had to feel that guys pain. No way was he putting that on. He was feeling it. Everyone who worked on this did a great job. Like the camera work was beautiful. There are some real close up shots of Pheonix's face that allow you to see the emotion in high resolution detail. It's unreal.

This movie is not for those that stay down about the state of things. This is that real shit. It's dark, it's weird, it's disturbing, it's a beautiful struggle.
