The fried chalag fish is really small so the first time I had it, I had to ask if I ate the whole thing. It's small enough to chew the fried fish bones but just sure you chew it well. It's eaten both with and without rice and can be considered a finger food.

The honey glaze that I put on it is different than the traditional recipes sugar or palm sugar. Over the years I've been successful at customizing most recipes from using white cane sugar to honey without compromising the taste.

Overall, it was an amazing meal that isn't spicy which makes it a rare Thai recipe.
