Golden Castle and Fish Feeding in Uthai Thani 🇹🇭 ปราสาททอง (วัดท่าซุง)🐟🐟

Yesterday, I talked about my visit to in Chantharam Temple (Wat Tha Sung) in Uthai Thani, and today I will show you more about my culture with beautiful pictures of temples.

After making merit in the Crystals Sanctuary, I decided to check the area around it, this temple is very big! So, we have to go with a car or you can take a tuk-tuk driven by local people who work there, they will take care of you and help you see everything around this place. My aunt took me inside the amazing Golden Castle, so beautiful.

Thai people like to go to temple very much. When at temple, we make merit and worship things that make us feel calm and peaceful. Depending on the faith, different people have different beliefs (I will tell you more about it next time in a different post!), for example they do different things after making merit. Some people like to walk around the temple and its beautiful area to relax and see something interesting, spend time together with their family and take some photos to remember this nice moment. Sometimes, the celebration of important traditions in Thailand at the temple may look like a big party. At the same time, when we celebrate we love to make merit. Thais think that if you make merit often, you will go to heaven when you die.

I looked around the amazing Golden Castle, it looks stunning!
Handcrafted sculptures in Thai style are really beautiful, the patterns on them look peaceful and very charming for me, I love them! Just look at the pictures and see for yourself! ;)

There is a wall around the temple with statues of sitting Buddha.

There is a beautiful garden in the temple and the weather on that day was very nice! The garden is very green and the air there very fresh!

One of the activities Thai people do when they go the temple is feeding fish. It makes us feel like we do something good for the animals, which are living beings just like us. It is actually fun too and very relaxing. Lakes and rivers in Thailand are full of fish, there is a lot of life here!

ปราสาททอง (วัดท่าซุง)

สวัสดีค่ะ เมื่อวานนี้เราได้เขียนเรื่องไปเที่ยว วัดจันทาราม(วัดท่าซุง) จังหวัดอุทัยธานี ไปบ้างแล้วบางส่วน ที่วัดนี้มีพื้นที่ค่อนข้างใหญ่มาก หลังจากเข้าไปเยี่ยมชมวิหารแก้วแล้ว ด้านในวัดยังมีปราสาททองที่สวยงามอลังการด้วยประติมากรรมการแกะสลักลวดลายไทยเนื้องานฝีมือปราณีตมากๆ ประดับด้วยทองคำเปลว สีทองเหลืองอร่าม สวยสะดุดตา ดูมีเสน่ห์มนต์ขลัง สวยงามมากๆค่ะ หลังจากกราบพระขอพรและทำบุญ ถ้ามาเป็นครอบครัวก็จะถ่ายรูปวัดสวยๆ ปราสาททองสร้างความประทับใจให้กับผู้ที่มาเยี่ยมชมเป็นอย่างมาก ผู้ที่ไปเยี่ยมชมจึงถ่ายรูปสวยๆเก็บไว้เป็นที่ระรึก (เราก็ทำแบบนั่นเหมือนกันค่ะ ^^)
บ้านเราชาวพุทธ เมื่อมีงานเฉลิมฉลองหรือเทศกาลต่างที่แสดงถึงวัฒนธรรมไทย ที่วัดจึงเป็นสถานที่ใช้ในงานสำคัญต่างๆ เพื่อให้ทุกคนมีส่วนร่วมในงานต่างๆที่จัดขึ้นและก็ได้ทำบุญไปด้วยพร้อมๆกัน คนไทยชอบทำบุญมากๆ และมีความเชื่อว่าถ่าทำบุญเยอะๆตายไปจะได้ขึ้นสวรรค์ (อันนี้แล้วแต่ความเชื่อส่วนบุคคลนะคะ^^)
กำแพงวัดของวัดจันทาราม เราจะเห็นได้ว่าถูกสร้างขึ้นเป็นกำแพงที่มีพระพุทธรูปสถิตอยู่ด้านข้างกำแพงตลอดทางตั้งแต่ทางเข้าจนถึงปราสาททอง ซึ่งไกลมากๆค่ะ :)
มีรูปสวยๆของสวนสมเด็จฯมากฝากด้วย วันนี้อากาศค่อนข้างดีค่ะ
หลังจากนั้นก็ขับรถไปให้อาหารปลาที่ท่าน้ำ นอกจากจะทำบุญแล้วคนไทยชอบทำทานด้วย เช่น ให้อาหารปลา เกือบทุกๆวัดจะมีแม่น้ำลำคลองและในน้ำมีปลาเป็นจำนวนมาก เวลาให้อาหารปลาจะรู้สึกสนุกผ่อนคลายและสบายใจสุดๆไปเลยค่ะ ;)
