37.865B for Steem account creation.
Thanks for your data :)
With all actions costing in the Billions of mana other than Unvoting it seems kind of silly to measure it with all of those insignificant digits. It seems like the entire thing could be divided by 100 million and be far more readable.
Pretty crazy.
EDIT: Also we need to rely on EDITING a lot less, as that is expensive.
We could just use MM,GM or TM. Upvoting also uses mana which sucks, considering that we already have a total power for that.
it does not make sense why they addded this mana feature... especially to upvoting when we already have a metric for that. Steemit has really fallen off with this stupid fork. I am also skeptical about the future of SMT's as folks are already moving their shit to EOS
If I have anything to say about it there's no way we at @steempeak will be using all 9 of those useless digits.
We just don't need them.
Maybe 2.1 bRC but even that I'm not sure why we'd need that. Just show 2.1RC is fine.
We're asking around for best opinions.
2.1MM isn't quite good enough in my opinion. This solution has to work for the every day user not the advanced user.
Resteeming this and my Marc went up. I am assuming it cost little and my recharge is much larger than that cost.
I believe claiming rewards also uses mana. If that's the case, i will have to turn off auto claim on my smaller account.
Thanks! Wonder if this will all change once things 'settle down' !

It seems pretty costly to create an account, I need to see the numbers in perspective!
Thanks for sharing this. It will be very important that Steemians proofread posts, as the cost to edit in Resource Credits is just as much as posting!
Hopefully this will see people reading their comments and posts before hitting submit to ensure their point is clear.
This will be very important as everyone's resource credit debt is gradually paid.
Wait, so editing a comment is MORE expensive than making a new one? That means Steem is encouraging me to write a reply that specifies the edit rather than actually editing my comment? That just doesn't make sense...
That's why they sneaked in the unlimited edit... Not really unlimited is it.

저도 댓글 rc값 체크를...
오... 댓글 2개 달면 1% 까이니까 하루 200개까지 댓글쓰기 가능이네요. 빨리 수치가 낮아져야 할텐데;;
Thanks for the information. But I needed just over 3,000,000,000 RC for a transfer. So a little more than in your article.
still a bit confused about all these digits. will see where all takes us. nice update though
Hey, @tabris.
Except for upvoting, which has been in the 1.9 to 2.4 billion range, my numbers have been significantly higher than what you report here when it comes to comments and posting. Comments have not been cheaper than 18 billion so far, with a couple at 48 billion, and the one post I made ended up at 40 billion.
I have not seen a significant difference in content size (amount of text), but there could be a correlation with higher RC usage and adding in images.
At any rate, I appreciate seeing your numbers so I have something to compare mine to. I'm also glad I wasn't the only checking into this.
