I had the pleasure of using the mobile service twice, and it really was a pleasure because neither issue was serious or urgent. My first complaint was that my trunk was noisier than it used to be when opening and closing. The second was that the charging port sometimes wouldn't open by touch (though I usually opened it with the charging plug handle anyway).
All I had to do was leave the car in a safe, easily accessible spot, and that was it. Technically, I didn't need to be around for the repairs at all, but I still spent the entire visit annoying chatting with the technician.
The best part is that they were proactive and replaced parts that could potentially cause known issues in this model/year.
I had a similar experience with mobile service. The tech who came out was a Tesla fanatic so we talked the entire time he was rotating the tires. It's great that so many of the employees are still that enthusiastic about the product. What model do you have? It's so tempting to pull the trigger on the new Model Y Launch edition. It sounds like they're struggling to make the HW3 vehicles work with the latest version of FSD. I think the only thing I dislike about Teslas are how quickly some of the hardware becomes obsolete. I can see it becoming almost like a mobile phone where it makes sense to trade them in every few years.
I have TM3 since 2021, visited two HiveFest (Netherlands and Croatia) and two other Hive related events (HiveBeeCon in Poalnd) and Web3 conference in Germany. TMY isn't for us, it's too big. Before I had TM3 I was driving TMX and TMS for some time. FSD isn't available in Europe (I mean since I was first using on 2016 TMX it just degrades because of EU regulations, so here hardware isn't an issue, Mad Max ;-) mode on highways worked good enough and now it's gone).
(and I'm not going to change it for few more years, average car lifespan in family is 10+ years :-D )
