RE: Normal Life For Most People Is Like An Episode of Black Mirror

Humans always over correct. But then we come back.

Our first dive into technology has been a deep and long one. But the turn is coming, the turn where technology results in the dissolution of the old order, shatters it, and the new order slowly emerges.

The ability of electronics to facilitate communication is not limited to the increasingly centralized, hierarchical system that exists now, because that system of centralization is actually the system design that existed before technology. Technology is slowly disrupting everything that made that system possible by creating decentralized energy, decentralized information, and decentralized communication.

Those 3 things -- decentralization of information, energy, and communication -- are the catalysts that are leading up to the collapse of the old, hierarchical order, and what will emerge will be techno-agrarianism.

Smaller, agile, adaptable units that can communicate but don't need each other in order to survive. And thus society will flow around the tottering, creaking, collapsing old order and leave it behind.
