BUBBLETONE – THE BLOCKCHAIN FOR THE GLOBAL TELECOM ECOSYSTEM

images(36).jpg
As we live each day, we communicate with each other in many different ways. The simplest forms of communication involves talking out loud, using hand signs and writing down messages. Today, technology is used to increase the number of ways people can communicate. Telecommunication plays a vital role in keeping the balance of communicating with each other since it has helped billions of people to keep in touch with each other although they are a million miles away. Although many persons have benefited from the resources and convenience provided by telecommunication, it also has some demerits especially if it is misused, brutalized and abused.

PROBLEMS FACING THE TELECOM ECOSYSTEM

With millions of subscribers, variety of new products, bundled and customized solutions, the operational support services like service configuration, order fulfillment, customer care, and billing are becoming increasingly complex. Hence, the cost of handling these operations require resources and different tools, thus, increasing the financial overhead. Security of the networks has become a major priority for the telecom ecosystem and they are facing challenges with the emergence of new threats that are powered by new technologies. So, a number of operational and technical innovations are needed to meet customer expectations of complete system security from network till the device level.

Roaming is another major problem facing the telecom ecosystem. Roaming refers to the use of a mobile phone outside the geographical area of its home network and connects to another available cell network. Travelling subscribers have to significantly overpay for services of foreign carriers because the roaming market is monopolized by mobile network operators. When subscribers get to their travel destination, the need to look for service providers to set up and use their local SIM card may be complicated by a possible language barrier and sometimes requires several hours, there is also the risk is losing the users main SIM card and also the change of the users home number. If subscribers decide to use the Global SIM card , it will result in higher rates than local SIM card, separate balance, change of the user’s home number and possible risk of losing the users main SIM card. There is also a need to search for access points in other to use data services. This may cause a challenge because most of these points require a password which disrupts the continuity of the network connection. The technology of roaming is expensive and its very difficult to implement.

SOLUTIONS TO THE TELECOM ECOSYSTEM PROBLEMS

Bubbletone Blockchain is the best solution for solving the telecom ecosystem problems because will use the Graphene Framework and proof-of-importance concensus. Graphene is an Open Source C++ Engine developed in a very modular fashion, making it adaptable to many different uses. This Blockchain is capable of executing over 10,000 transactions per second. The telecom ecosystem needs strong , real-time transaction processing. Waiting over one minute for connection may not be good for subscribers.

The Bubbletone Blockchain will allow users from any location to access and pay for the telecom and non-telecom services. The goal is to provide user identification from the part of both the mobile operator and value-added service providers wherever they are in the world. The blockchain is very transparent and keeps data safe and secure. The entire blockchain is kept on many nodes within the network and also in many copies, so the chance of data loss is very low. When a user moves to a new location, the personal data of the user is transferred to their home operator and this will be used as the basis for user identification on the Bubbletone Blockchain platform. Digital identities is used to provide security for the users’ personal data and it also enables a universal means of authentication by mobile network operators and service providers globally. Modern and standardized cryptography with peer-to-peer encryption is also used to ensure that the data is safely transferred from the user to his home operator to create a digital footprint. It is then stored on the blockchain as a hash of the data, followed by a status indicating whether the data was certified.

In other to use the Bubbletone Blockchain platform, the user will transfer his personal information to the operator, then it will be decrypted on the Bobbletone platform and a hash of the data will be created so that it will be compared with the hash obtained from the blockchain. This process will certify the data provided and make it secure.

Other Benefits includes

(1) Bubbletone Blockchain aims to eliminate all long, complex and costly procedures, creating a new market for thousands of telecom carriers and opening affordable mobile services for subscribers. The Bubbletone platform creates a synergy between the telecom business and service providers outside the telecom market.

(2) By using the Bubbletone Blockchain, mobile carriers will avoid the need to enter roaming agreements. They will be able to connect to Bubbletone Blockchain through a simple Application Programming Interface (API). Using this process will help them to avoid the complicated and lengthy process of roaming.

(3) Mobile carriers will be able to provide for their subscribers a Bubbletone Messenger, with integrated tariffs plans and customized wallpaper with their logo and colors. The image above shows some of the features of the Bubbletone like the messenger application. This Bubbletone Messenger has enhanced security and unique features like Audio and video calls, Group chats and SMS chats, Burning messages after reading, Sending messages to the future, Sending SMS from messenger onto GSM network, Stickers and animations, Sharing photos, Sharing videos and large files, Record voice messages with pre-listening and Request the location of subscriber and contacts. Subscribers will have the opportunity to keep their mobile number while travelling abroad and cost on roaming. This will make the home mobile carriers not to lose revenue from incoming and outgoing calls. Mobile carriers will be able to provide services for subscribers coming to their country at cost close to zero.

ROADMAP OF THE PROJECT

(Q1 2018) The Initial version of the smart contracts is ready.

(Q2 2018) The release of the Web-API for integration of mobile operators and service providers and the integration of Digital Identity into Bubbletone app.

(Q3 2018) Global Mobile Profile approval by International Telecommunication Union.

(Q4 2018) Expanding list of mobile operators and service providers connected to Bubbletone Blockchain Ecosystem.

(Q1-Q4 2019) Signing agreements with mobile operators worldwide to activate the Global Mobile Profile. First prototype of a global SIM-chip will be embedded into mobile devices. The first 1 million transactions are processed.

The Bubbletone Team

The team has 20 years of experience in the Telecom Industry. This experience helps in building innovative products for mobile operators. This team has created multiple telecom and software development businesses.

Yuri Morozov: He is the founder of 4 active telecom companies with annual revenue over

$50m.

Oleg Pravdin : The founder оf 3 start-ups in the USA, China and Russia.

Stepan Gershuni: Blockchain expert, co-founder @Block Notary

CONCLUSION

From my analysis, the Bubbletone Blockchain Platform is the best for the telecom ecosystem when compared with other blockchain platforms because of its high transaction processing speed.
