How to Train Your Dragon OR Parent's Guide for Teenagers

in #teenagers7 years ago (edited)

In making the analogy between young teenagers and Dragons, I do not pretend to damage the good concept that anyone could have of dragons, I only intend to emphasize the power and fear that can awaken a teenager in their parents, as well as the terrifying consequences that can cause these creatures if they are not controlled or "trained".

My name is Carlos, and I come from a family where the concept of "Head of the Family" is handled, who is a member of the family who assumes responsibilities beyond those that correspond to him, he is the father not only of his children, he is a father of his brothers, his nephews, his godchildren and that is why he is at the top of the pyramid, and he is the one who is asked for advice for everything, from buying a house, getting a divorce or having a dog.
My father was the head of the family, my mother is the head of the family and I learned from them, that's why when my eldest sister died, I became the father of my 2 nieces.
When I met my wife, she was already the mother of 2 children of 5 and 6 years old, so when I was 25, when I got married, I was already the father of 4 children, 15 years later, I write about what I have learned.
If I dare to write about such an important topic, it is because at my 40 years, I have "triumphed" in this difficult task, I raised a young lady and two young men, who are now more than 20 (for my purposes the end of adolescence) are young students , workers, independent and as my father said "of foundation".
Also I have been defeated resoundingly, by a beautiful young woman who also has more than 20, refuses to stop being a teenager and showed me how hard the skin of a dragon can be and how intense the fire that comes out her mouth can be..

At the moment I deal with two wonderful, opposite, indecipherable specimens, which are in the 15s, the age that I consider the midpoint of the battle, but even with my experience every day is a discovery and a challenge, that is why I wanted to share some information that I hope you can help them survive.
