Hi, I am working on a book that is going to be a modern day Grapes of Wrath meets The Outsiders with a dash of Mr. Robot and a sprinkle of The Walking Dead.
I am hoping to have it in the query process by this summer.
The book won't focus on tech so much but more on a family plotting their revenge on a giant oil company. Instead of the poor being helpless victims like in the Grapes of Wrath and The Outsiders, they are armed, educated and able to fight the system. However, I will have scenes where I will need to use tech terminology, and I am currently taking a crash course but don't feel confident in my limited knowledge. So I need someone that knows the lingo and terminology to consult.
What I need is someone to read a scene and make sure it makes sense. I would only send you the scenes that are applicable, not the whole book.
