Google again gives a surprise for April Fools. Illustration of a bespectacled figure with a winter hat and a red-and-white red-and-red sweater will seem to welcome the user when opening the Google Maps map app.

He is Wally aka Waldo, a figure in the book series of puzzles for the children Where's Waldo created the English illustrator, Martin Hansford. Waldo invites users of Google Maps to travel through a series of mini games.

Waldo will appear waving his arms from the side of the screen. When clicked, a pop-up menu will appear with options to play the game. The game is located at a number of points on the map. The way to play is to find Waldo in the puzzle images presented in each location.

In addition to Waldo himself, there are also friends like Wenda, Wood, Whitebeard Wizard, Odlaw, and Waldo twinverse twin antagonist.

When you've found the character, Google Maps users can click on Waldo to advance to the next level or keep playing at that level to look for friends.

Waldo minigames will be present in Google Maps Browser versions as well as apps on Android and iOS for the next week.

This is not the first time Google integrates the figures of a well-known brand in its bespoke Maps application. In April, Google also replaced the arrows in turn-by-turn navigation with go-kart Mario car from Mario Kart game.
