car, with fast working heater
But no dark spyware...
If you're looking to buy a new car, be wary of all the Helpful Add on and inclusions of high technology that is supposed to help you. All those luxury High Sensors and fancy safety precautions are just double edged swords, which are there to collect data on you. As we continue to push forth through this grueling late winter here in Germany, I couldn't help but picture many drivers in their brand new smart cars, aut piloting them through the snow, plowing through this near blizzard storm, over black ice, as the groggy, half woke drivers (or more so now passengers) lazily watch and enjoy their automated journey to their destination. There are cars that can sense when you close your eyes, or record your eye movement, can predict and prevent future or possible car accidents, see how much you weigh with weight sensors embedded in the seats, internet data from your radios to show what programs and entertainment you enjoy, and record your location and distances traveled, as well as, which restaurants, especially fast food joints you like to frequent. If I do get a car, I don't think I'll be jumping at any 2018 models so quickly in this winter time.

My very own wonderful gif logo provided to me by the generous and kindhearted @papa-pepper Thanks again very much!
The takeover of technology in the automobile industry is simply mind blowing! A bit scary to be honest. I happened to get into an Uber which was self driven! It was a rather strange experience ! High end models of most cars have autopilot. Sometimes too much comfort can leave safety to take a back seat!
@verbal-d your gif is super cool 😎
Thank you very much, yeah i bet it was so strange and uncomfortable to be autodriven by an Uber cars Definitely agree saftey takes a back seat for sure as we rely too much on the trust of technology which can go haywire at anytime. Appreciate you reading
Oh, D:) I want a car that will drive itself:)
Haha I bet, I just picture the smart car malfunctioning and steering off the side of a cliff.
Yes, but I remind myself that human malfunction all the time ... texting and driving, speeding, being too tire or otherwise impaired. You do not have to worry about that with AI. One hope they get the kinks out first though.
I plan to share my thoughts on AI soon with some future haikus. We sure rely on AI a lot nowadays. I would rather be in control of my vehicle and use AI only cases of emergency when I am prevented from being able to drive, but yes us humans make bad decisions, choices and can malfunction often :)
As a pedestrian with a small child living in a big city and crossing a number of streets everyday ... I am for AI driving all the way .. a back up system that signals if the controls system is malfunctioning could give a warning. It could also bring the car to a complete stop. Remember everyday you depend on your breaks not to fail ... they are a machine and these days they are linked to a computer in most cars. We are already there.
Oh, technology
You need skill and the patience
To build it yourself
Exactly! A luxury many of us do not have lol
