I am confronted by extreme cognitive dissonance at the consideration of a farmer so poor as to have to consider suicide in order to leave enough food for his family to survive. When I think of golden escalators, and how the cost of just lunch for some would keep his option to live open, i am brought to tears of anger.

This is not a problem that farmers in India can solve.

God I hope these people can find Steemit! Even the paltry pennies we minnows earn per post might be salvation to a man willing to die so that his children will have enough food to keep their lives.
