One reason why the world leaders are afraid of AI is that the AI will see them as the real danger of humanity. That poverty and war are caused by them. The AI would warn us and the elite would lose their power.

That would be pretty nice. But if another leader from amongst us becomes the same as those old, power-hungry leaders were, wouldn't the AI come to the conclusion that mankind cannot be changed? That it is the one and the same?
