The key feature of this mask is the inbuilt orange lights that promote deep sleep. You can also set the lights to change to green to wake you up in place of your alarm. Using light to sleep and wake up is not new, but having it in a mask with a sleep tracker and white noise machine makes this unique.
Despite assurances that it is more comfortable and effective than a traditional sleep mask and ear plugs, it does look bulky, heavy and hot. However, there is potential here, and there are sure to be more of these types of devices hitting the market in the next few years.
