Introduction
In today’s society, jobs are becoming increasingly more technology oriented. In fact, many of these tech jobs prefer, if not require, you to know a programming language. As technology has evolved, jobs have as well. Even in jobs that don’t have a whole lot to do with programming, you can still use programming to get work done. Let's say you had to create a bunch of folders and organize them, then you could just write a program that would do it for you!
Not to mention, there are so many fields of programming!
Added advantages of learning a language
Learning to program will also make you a more efficient and well-organized person. The reason for this is because you practice organizing code in an efficient manner so that when you come back to it later, you're always able to interpret and read it with ease. Learning to program could also help you land a job that would actually pay well. Just recently in 2015, Computer programmers made on average $79,530 and the top 10 percent of those people made $130,800. Not only this, but you have no limitations to what you can imagine and create. You could build your own job!
In conclusion, for these reasons, learning to program is a very useful skill in life to learn and can even land you an amazing job.
So yes, yes you should learn a language.

Am learning simple coding for wordpress.org actually. Hahah, and I'm already dying.
It’s a bit of a learning curve :) What language are you learning?
Coders are the best paid freelancers in the game. Besides that, they are also the richest in the world.
It is truly a wonderful job. When I am writing code for apps, games, and websites, it doesn’t even feel like work. In fact, coding is my free time activity :)
Becoming one with your skill is a surefire way to become a master of your craft.
Agreed. You’ve worded it much better than I.
Excellent post, I love programming, I stay away from the code for personal reasons, however, this I'm going to resume, getting up to date with the updates, I found in the course of Javascript on the website codecademy, a platform very good to learn to program :)
Greetings!!
Indeed! Glad you enjoyed :)

Hello @nairadaddy,
For web development, I’d suggest learning JavaScript as that is one of the main languages of the web. If you haven’t already, I’d also suggest trying out some HTML and CSS. They both are extremely easy to learn because they’re markup languages. They took me about a day. JavaScript on the other hand, is more of a real programming language. I’d suggest getting a web developer bootcamp on a platform such as Udemy.
Thanks for the interest!
Wow! Awesome suggestions. I already know a bit of HTML. CSS will be another on to try my hands on. Javascrip is a definite YES. Thanks so much! Cheers!
