Yes that's all true but only if you decide to share in some cases
With the technology we carry with us these days it's not surprising so much of what we do can be tracked without us doing anything i.e. Location shopping habits etc etc

Yep just having facebook on your phone pretty much gives them complete excess to what ever they want about you. Than there is also the extra bits people feel they have to share on facebook.
