It was IBM (International Business Machines Corporation). The IBM Simon is the first touchscreen phone which was launched in 1992. It was refined further and marketed to consumers in 1994 by BellSouth corporation, an American telecommunications. When it was launched, it was launched under the name Simon Personal Communicator. It was created more than 15 years before Apple released the iPhone.
It's also referred as the first “smartphone,” though the term was not yet coined. People started using the term 'smartphone' from the year 1995. But the first true smartphone actually made its debut three years earlier.
