Hyperloop company unveils its full-scale 750-mph 'passenger capsule'

Ahlborn envisions the capsule being able to travel the more than 400 miles from Los Angeles to San Francisco in 36 minutes, levitating magnetically inside a tube for a complete lack of friction.

Interesting article and video about the hyperloop, looks like this is really going to happen, a lot of countries seem to be interested. I think it's great, I've always thought the US needed more train transportation like in Europe, but this would just leap to the next technology. I'd hop on one of things in a second.

And traveling by plane for short trips is getting to be more of a pain then it's worth. When you figure all much time and hassle going to the airport and all the bs that's involved in that, a lot of times I'll just drive instead.

Diversification in transportation methods is something the U.S. really needs. Couple that with an increase in quality and user-experience, and I think we move forward.
