The idea of automated car's. Would this work economically.

in #technology7 years ago

I have thought about this some and really see a lot of problems with driverless cars.

The amount of industry that would be affected is staggering.

  • The car industry would be alright for the first ten year, but after that?

  • The autobody industry would be devastated?

  • The auto mechanics would also be devastated?

  • Taxi drivers would become a profession of the past.

  • Bus & Truck drivers would go with the taxi drives into the dustbin of history.

  • Police would also find themselves out of work as who would need to pay traffic tickets.

  • Judges would be cut down too.

  • Less ambulance drivers doctors and lawyers would be needed, because of the lack of accidents.

  • In fact with the current system of pay to eat, pay to have shelter, and pay to have clothing well???

Seems to me there would be a lot of cold, hungry, naked people all over the world.

I don't think it will all happen that way! I think the fact is that what will happen is a system change and I think it would in the end be a evolving force for humanity.

What do you think?

Would the world just fall apart?

Or would humanity come together?

I think it would work, but there would have to be forces that could maintain the demand for goods and services. Such as, universal basic income. Automation is already happening.

I think in the end it will work. Is part a parcel of helping the world through cryptocurrencies. I like the idea of being able to focus our human abilities in the world of imagination and higher thought.
