8 million internet users in the country

According to BTRC, the effective internet connection in the country at the end of November is 8 crores 1 lakh 66 thousand. Of these, the number of ISPs is 53.42 thousand. WiMax connection is 88 thousand.In three months, if a person uses the Internet, he is considered an active user, according to the BTRC website.

As of last October, the country had 7 million 97 million 89 thousand internet users.

As of November, the number of active mobile phone users in the country stood at 14.31 million 6 thousand. Out of this, Grameenphone has 6 crores 49 lakh 59 thousand, Robi Axiata 4 crore 13 lakh 97 thousand, Banglalink 3 crore 23 lakh 30 thousand, Teletalk 44 million and 19 thousand subscribers stood.
