I haven't had the occasion to read any of your article for some time... (due to the increase ion popularity of steemit and the smaller amount of time I have, I am overwhelmed...). Apologies for that.
Distractions are a pain for productivity. The best moment of my day, regarding my production, consists of the twice one hour spent in the train (to commute to go to work), where I am in my sphere, undisturbed both by the cell phone (that is stored) and by humans (this is not negligible too).
At work, there is always something. Most of the time, this consists of discussions that are also needed, but they basically prevent me from being able to concentrate for a long period in a row.
This train trip is thus a good way to still be helpful and chatting with others, and have my work done at the same time. ^^
Hey @lemouth! Totally get where you're coming from there. I can be a huge time-suck after a while. A good one, mostly. ;)
Sounds like a productivity heaven! Secluded from distractions just enough that you can get things done. I used to love taking the light rail while I was in college for that reason. (Except for the creepy people I'd encounter sometimes.)
Hope you're doing well!
I actually may be considered as a creepy person in the train, as I am often mumbling to the computer when I work... :D
I am always fine, thanks for asking! What about you?
I'm talking about creepy older men who tried hitting on the young-looking 18-year-old that I once was. Doesn't sound like you fall into that category. lol
Doing swell! :)
OOooooooh no thank you, I am not of this kind! :D
