Force Field is it Possible in the Future?

Through the years of upgrading defense system of a country, from an ordinary rocket and missiles comes the hypersonic weapon.
In Russia they develop a missile called KInzhal Hypersonic missile this missile have a speed 20 times faster than the speed of sound which is one of the most fastest missile in the world today. It was featured in an article in livescience say the U.S might not be able to stop this kind of missile though they have they a deterrent force that can discourage the enemies from attacking them.

Reading the article in the livestream I was thinking about, what if the in the near future a nation can invent a real force field? Even though Boeing said they invented a force field. I think their kind of force field is still too far from the force field I know in sci-fi movies. The force field that I know act as a barrier against missiles and force coming from outside of the barrier intended to destroy those inside of it.

What is FORCE FIELD?

Force field or sometimes called Energy shield and Deflector shield is a barrier made of energy, plasma or particles that protects those inside of it.

If a nation can invent a technology that can make a shield to protect their country against missiles and nuke, I guess it will be the strongest defense system will be made. Even a country without nuke can become powerful if they have a force field.
