Android O might be having animated clock icon which Apple's IOS had way before. It is the animated icon and not a widget. So it will be awaited with more excitement.
According to the developers, the Pixel Launcher will support the animated clock icon for Google Clock app. Almost all the launchers will have the support for this soon. This feature is available with Action Launcher from version 25.0.
