A world without AI would put us at a significant technological disadvantage, which is the one thing humanity doesn't need at this point. It's necessary for us, now more than ever before, to achieve new breakthroughs. Earth has a finite amount of resources. Not only that but the pollution that man is releasing into the atmosphere is simple killing the Earth. At one point, it would be necessary for us to colonize other planets. The essential part of this technology is AI. However dangerous they may be, they are incredibly resourceful for us.
