Apple has started withdrawing the apps that have been shared with third-party apps from the App Store, rather than accepting the policies.
The 9-to-5 Mac report says that the US technology giant is removing apps that share their location information with third parties without 'clear consent'. According to paragraph 5.1.1 and 5.1.2 of App Store Guidelines, it is illegal for the customer to share his information without knowing it. According to the paragraph of the App Store policy, "Apps must not send location information to the third party without explicit consent of the customer."
According to the technology site report, it is said in the notice on behalf of the developers of disadvantage of Apple's policies, their applications are not in compliance and they need "re-evaluation". 9 to 5 Mac's report says that the affected apps did not provide clear information about what the customer has got. The General Data Protection Regulation is going to launch on 25 May in Europe. It is believed that due to policy, Apple has started working to remove the app. According to the new European policy, the company will have to give clear consent to collect customer information. At the notice sent by the developers, Apple said that if any of their applications are back again, any code, framework or SD that shares location information with the third party will be removed from the app. These were removed and asked to re-submit the apps.
Apple has not explained how many developers or apps were attacked in this step.
