The United Kingdom has developed an ultra-luxurious night bus called the ‘Snoozeliner,’ which is fitted with beds, memory foam mattresses and other advanced equipment designed to guarantee a good night's sleep. It is intended to go into operation on eight routes in London, Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham from autumn 2018.
Equipped with 14 futuristic sleep pods, the ‘mobile capsule hotel’ offers a sound-isolation and acoustic black-out blinds, together with a recessed amber light-therapy system. Each booth will also feature a vertical forest air purification system and calming plants to create fresh scents.
Despite the comfortable environment, designed for sleep, the double-decker night bus is planned to fit USB chargers and Wi-Fi, as well as a storage system for valuables. Unlimited free mineral water, coffee and specially-selected smoothies will also be available on board.
To ensure passengers will not miss their stop, passengers are required to enter in their stop when they board, then stewards will be on hand to wake them up before they reach their destination.
