The incident was reported by an Indian website tech case India and the device belongs to Mr Arjun from Karnataka, Bangalore. He said he went to a nearby local shop and asked the retailer to add a sim card into the mobile phone and as soon as he tried to open it the smartphone exploded with flames of fire.
Usually, smartphones explore due to battery overheating as was the case with the Samsung Note 7 which caused the company billions of dollars and endangered the safety of many users. In this case, the device was not even getting charged or was not even used but suddenly exploded.
