The Dell XPS 2 in 1 15 inch was created for people on the go. Whether you are a student, a professional or even a gamer, this is one device that can do it all.
Pros
-Amazing 4k Screen (gets very bright)
-Thin and compact (for a 15 inch laptop)
-Can play some games in 4k with settings turned down
-Solid build quality (no keyboard flex)
-Thunderbolt 3 (for external GPU)
-Included smart pen (yours may vary depending on promotions)
-Comfortable keyboard
Cons
-Mine came with a glitch that caused fans to get loud at idle (was fixed with a bios update on dell's website)
-Occasionally the track pad becomes unresponsive
-Gets hot when gaming
-Battery life doesn't live up to expectations (about 4-5 hours of general use)
-Small amount of storage (256 gigs on my model)
Conclusion
Overall I am satisfied with my purchase of the Dell XPS 2 in 1 15 inch. I wish that the Vega graphics were a bit more powerful to keep up with the 4k screen. While this computer can do just about anything (Gaming, Photo Editing, Engineering Software, Professional Use) I believe its best feature is its portability. This laptop is obviously geared towards travelers and college students. I personally purchased this Dell laptop to serve as my main computer while I attend college as a Computer Engineering student.
While the price of this laptop usually goes for $1999.99, I was able to snag it at $1799.99. I suggest you wait to purchase it until you find it on sale.
My Configuration
-Intel Core i7 8705g Processor with Vega M GL Graphics
-16 Gigabytes of soldered memory
-256 Gigabytes of M.2 storage
-UHD Screen
