5g is a new, to be released, mobile network technology. It will replace currently in use 4g technology to provide more better speed, reliability and coverage. Number of mobile users is growing, so there is an increase demand for internet access, that can be only met by providing a more better network technology.

5g will use different kind of antennas, different radio frequencies and ultra high speed than 4g.
4g uses radio frequencies below 6 Ghz but 5g will use frequency range of 30 Ghz-300 Ghz.
5g will use shorter wavelength, which mean that antennas can be smaller than current 4g antennas and 5g will support 1,000 more devices per meter than 4g.
5g is 20 times faster than 4g.
5g will be capable of 20 Gb/s, 4g is capable of 1 Gb/s. 5g will at least provide 100 Mb/s for everyday use.
5g is expected to to release in 2020.
