Virtual Reality, A look at the newest in VR Tech. (Playstation VR, Samsung Gear VR & The Oculus Rift)

-There are a few different types of VR headsets. There are ones that you use a smartphone, and ones that connect to a pc or a gaming console (example: PS4 VR). In my personal opinion i do not really think that is good for your eyes looking at your cell phone that close to your face. (example: Samsung Gear VR)

Playstation VR Headset

-Playstation VR (a.k.a Project Morpheus)-Name during development, by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The device has a 5.7" OLED screen with 1080p resolution. It also contains a processor allowing it to connect to your tv, being able to view what the viewer is or competing against the person wearing the vr headset, using the regular PS4 controller. Samsung Gear VR 2016 Edition Virtual Reality Smartphone Headset

-The Samsung Gear VR is a step up from, Google Cardboard. Pretty much the same tech but a few small upgrades, such as a calibration wheel on the top of the headset, there is a trackpad on the right side of the device along with a back button above the trackpad and volume control rockers also located on the right side. Now for the Oculus Rift (PC)

-The Oculus Rift is the closest to real "Virtual Reality" requiring a powerfull pc equiped with a VR compatiable video card. The Oculus Rift includes a depth tracking device you keep on your desk, there is an option to include the motion sensing controllers (x2) one for each hand. -Personally I am very excited to try out the "Oculus Rift" I just upgraded my video card on my pc and my buddy said "Hey man you got a VR ready video card!" and I was all like "Really!" not realising it was before i got it lol, that is what got me all interested in what VR tech is out so far.
