People throw fits and troll and whine and fling shit because, they know, if they were to actually look into things or do research, there's now a good chance(because you just showed them) that it's true.
In which case they will have to put their own beliefs and biases aside in order to face an inconvenient truth. It's an irresponsible but natural reaction.
They fling shit, knowing others will fling too, and they attempt to justify themselves by remaining in the perceived safety of the majority.
They are mob voices. Not individual voices because they are people who are choosing not to think or act as individuals.
I'm not sure it's going to change either. Look at the dangers of standard cell phone use and people refuse to believe/care....it's saddening but what comes up must go down. This is also a lesson science has taught. ;)
