Greetings Tech Lovers !
Fingerprint sensor integrated directly into display of flagship smartphones - a lot of more, or less known smartphone companies were trying to make it true last year, there were rumors, that even Apple was trying to integrate this technology into their new iPhones, but as we all know, they didn't. But during the CES 2018 event, this technology became true.
Smartphone manufacturer Vivo presented first official smartphone with fingerprint sensor integrated directly into display. Vivo uses technology developed by Synaptics, which has some drawbacks. Scanner could be used only on OLED displays (there simply isn't enough space, because of the backlight, that LCD technology use).
The price and release date wasn't announced yet, but it's expected to see this great looking piece of tech to hit the markets during Q2 / Q3.
