I've postulated about artificial intelligence a lot flipping viewpoints at times. Easy to see it either the savior or the end of the human race. I think an artificial intelligence is a great goal, because essentially it would become a self learning computer. However is it possible to have an artifical intelligence without self awareness? I just wonder if the two are not able to be seperated, essentially we have created a self aware program, and it will be born into slavery. I can't imagine it will be created without a purpose. Just interesting to me. Great post
