Here are some thoughts on Linux versus De-Googled Android smartphones after experimenting with the Pinephone as my primary device for over a month.

I was planning on getting a Pine Phone myself someday, but heard the that it is slow. But since I do quite a few things with older Raspberry Pi 3B+, I can tolerate some slowness. Also my Oneplus 6T degoogled phone is still holding out well, so I maybe thinking of building some kind of frankenstein phone with a RPi 3B a smaller 6in x 4in screen and a 4G modem dongle, and see if that could be a workable solution as a wearable computer of some sort. Any way great video! Thanks
That sounds like a sweet project!
I have a couple of shortwave radios. The phones will be tossed into the bottom of an old pungent outhouse, where the seekers belong.
They can easily triangulate and monitor radios.
I'd feel better though.
